About Blizzard Wall

Could somebody please explain what the card Blizzard Wall (5-171) does? Because I don't understand it's effect.

Blizzard Wall is very similar to silent wall because it says you can only take one life this battle. So silent wall says after this battle end the battle phase, so you can either block the incoming attack or take the one life. With Blizzard Wall you have to take the life because it says you can't take 2 lifes this turn.

Ok, I get it, so for example if my opponent attacks and I play this, I take damage to life but if he attacks again this turn I take no more damage to life.f Thank you!

Basically the card says you can only deal at max 1 life damage to me this turn, but you can continue to attack anyway

The card text reads you can't take 2 or more damage this turn by attacking.
