About Golem Craft

Alright, I've got a question about Golem Craft(Set 3 no. 147). It says nexus turn to spirits for one turn. However what if I play this, and my opponent uses flame tempest, where will the nexuses go? To the trash? Or will they simply be treated as nexus again? I've asked this because all I see in bandai forum is an answer "the nexus only become spirits for one turn". Yeah, but what if they get destroyed? I really need an answer on this.

Since that they become spirits for that turn, they can be destroyed via flame tempest and would be going to trash
